Prayer Requests

This is the first time I've been to Cambodia.  I went to Honduras for my brother's wedding years ago, and I am imagining something similar in Cambodia.  Those of you reading this... if you would, please pray for safe travel and safety.  Please pray for the logistics of the trip and peace for my wife and kids while I'm gone.  Most of all, pray that God would use us to advance His kingdom and for his glory.  Others feel free to comment / add.

  1. I would ask for prayer for my health and that I know my limits (sometimes I try to keep up with everyone else when I know I shouldn't).

Also, that I would focus on relationships rather than tasks. The point is the people, not the list of to do's.

  3. My prayer is for your effectiveness in your own "special" ways. There are people who may respond especially to "your" unique way of presenting the gospel to them. Never underestimate the power of the Holy Spirit working through you. I pray also for your spiritual growth - that "He" may open your eyes to new blessings on this journey. God go with each of you and as I always tell my children . .
"be careful" - I know God holds you in the palm of His hand.

Keeping you in thoughts & prayers. Love, Pam Goetz

As the time draws near for your departure I'm sure it is a mixture of excitement, and yet "the unknown". Abraham was sent out, too, not knowing (everything) yet obeying the call. Even as you were called to be sent we are called to be your prayer warriors holding down the fort at home and so we will also carry out that mission! Go with God knowing his spirit will direct you in all you do and keep you safely in his hands. Blessings to one and all! Hugs and Love --

  5. By the time you read this your group may be half way to Cambodia (or you wish)! My prayer is that all goes well and that God's hand will be on you as well as your planes, luggage, pilots, and those you have left behind. I know His love will touch others through you. In the midst of all, may you have "peace" in whatever the circumstance and confidence of God's perfect will for you in all you do. Keep us posted . . . and, "be careful"! Love/Hugs -- Pam Goetz

I'ts only 9:45 p.m. here at Algona, Iowa and I'm already tired -- can't imagine how tired all of you must be except for maybe the "excitement" of it all keeping you going! Our prayer is for you to be refreshed so that you can begin to carry on the many tasks set before you. God guide your minds and hands as you set out to accomplish all that is needful in His name. We, too, had a heat index today here in the 100's so can identify somewhat with you. Take care - Hugs and Love,
